Pressure Distribution in the EDIX Amigo Shetland Saddle:
It would be better to speak of a saddle combination instead of a saddle. Because with a treeless saddle, a pad with inserts belongs. This pad is the basis for the saddle. The pad lifts the saddle up a bit and together with the saddle creates space between the spine and saddle combination. The saddle itself has on the underside on both sides separate, built-in, pressure-distributing, anatomically shaped wool-filled cushions. Together with the pad, this provides shock absorption and resilience, creating a tunnel for spinal freedom. This structure ensures an extremely stable, flexible, and soft contact surface with the horse's back. However, the saddle is delivered without the recommended pad. So you can choose which pad with inserts you want and which other accessories.
Flexibility and Fit:
The very pony-friendly EDIX Amigo treeless saddle offers the rider, due to the complete absence of hard materials, a soft and stable seat. The flexibility of the materials used makes the saddle an extremely flexible unit. As a result, the saddle can follow the movements of the pony's back and shoulders in all directions, thus offering optimal freedom of movement for the pony.

Width of the EDIX Amigo:
In the saddle, there is a narrow, flexible metal plate that ensures wither clearance. This is not removable. Due to the flexibility, it fits many different ponies.

The EDIX Amigo is made of luxury English leather. Soft leather on the seat and knee rolls. Finished with contrasting white stitching.

The saddle is delivered without accessories. So you can choose your favorite pad, stirrup leathers, stirrups, and all-purpose girth yourself to ride with the saddle.
