This Christ lambskin pad is specially designed for use under the Christ Basic and Premium bareback pads/fellsattels. This allows you to keep the bareback pad clean with a fitting liner or make the bareback pad more suitable for intensive use. The Christ Basic & Premium lambskin pad is anatomically shaped for an optimal fit. On both sides of the spine, the pad has insert compartments that can be filled with inserts if desired (matching inserts available separately). When using inserts in the pad, spine freedom and pressure distribution under the bareback pad are improved. Additionally, lambskin is antibacterial, improves pressure distribution, and prevents chafing.
XH or Normal Model Pad:
With the abbreviation XH, Christ indicates that a saddle pad or bareback pad is specially anatomically shaped for horses with high withers. XH variants are not standard stock items. These have a delivery time of approximately 4-6 weeks. The normal model is available immediately from Christ.
- Model XH is recommended for horses with high withers, to be used under Christ XH Fellsattels
- Model normal is recommended for horses with no to medium withers.
Advantages of the Christ lambskin pad:

+ The lambskin underside contributes to pressure distribution under the bareback pad and prevents chafing

Disadvantages of the Christ lambskin pad Basic Premium:
- Lambskin, especially when new, is slippery and can cause the bareback pad to shift more quickly on round horses
- The pad causes you to sit further from your horse with the bareback pad, reducing the close contact feeling
- For the production of lambskin, a sheep is slaughtered, so the product is not sheep-friendly
The lambskin pad is ideal for:
- use under the Christ Basic or Premium bareback pad / fellsattel
Less suitable for:
- other saddles and bareback pads, as it is precisely tailored for the two above-mentioned models of bareback pads

Care instructions:
The pad liner is machine washable on a cold cycle, using lambskin detergent. Lambskin must dry slowly and should not be dried in the sun. If using inserts, remove them before washing.
