Barefoot Cavesson Noseband
A separate cavesson noseband, attachable to almost any bridle. This allows you to easily convert any old bridle you have into a cavesson, or you can combine the cavesson noseband with the matching headstall.

The Shape-It Cavesson noseband is softly finished around a sturdy but flexible cable, providing a stable fit around the nose for very precise aids with minimal "noise". The noseband is highly flexible, allowing it to snugly conform to the nose. It is comfortably wide, softly padded, and features a total of 5 stainless steel rings. The bottom rings are intended for rein attachment, the middle one for a lunge line. Of course, you can attach lunge line(s) and any auxiliary reins as desired.
How to Use the Cavesson Noseband:
The Barefoot Cavesson can be used with any bridle, but we recommend the matching Contour Physio bridle for the best fit and most stable positioning. In the photos, this bridle is also used with the Cavesson noseband.

Maintenance of Cavesson Leather:
Nubuck leather is best maintained with Barefoot Leather Shampoo and Leather Cream. Leather grease and oil are not recommended as they may cause the leather to lose its matte color. It is advisable to store the noseband "closed" to help it better and more quickly conform to the horse's nose.
Delivery of Cavesson Noseband:
The cavesson noseband is delivered with a complimentary set of bit straps. No headstall is included; it is available separately or can be used with an existing headstall.
