Preventing problems
With a proper feeding strategy, sufficient roughage, and Vitalbix Daily Complete, many problems can be prevented. Vitalbix Daily Complete contains no grains and is molasses- and oat-free. It contains only 2.9% sugar and 3% starch, making it very suitable for horses sensitive to starch and sugars.
Balanced levels of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements
All vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in Vitalbix Daily Complete are added separately (no premix), so the levels are precisely tailored to the Recommended Daily Allowances that the horse needs according to the CVB guidelines. The calculation is based on a ration of unlimited roughage and the average nutrient values of hay.
Vitamin and mineral ratios
Not only the exact levels of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements are important for a healthy ration, but also the ratios between these nutrients. If there are imbalanced ratios, the substances will compete with each other, leading to deficiencies and resulting health problems.
