What is a sidepull bitless bridle?
The EDIX Grace is a sidepull bitless bridle where both reins are attached to rings on either side of the head. The bridle helps with the immediate release of any pressure applied by the rider. When you apply pressure on both reins, this pressure is applied to the horse's nose. When you release the pressure, it is immediately removed from the nose. This ensures a quick release, which is a clear signal for most horses. When you steer your horse to the right, the bridle slightly lifts away from the cheek. On the opposite side, it gently presses against the cheek, and combined with your seat aids, your horse bends in the desired direction. The nosepiece is wide and softly padded, so the impact on your horse's nose is gentle and minimal.
No Browband
At EDIX, we recommend using your bridle without a browband. A browband is not needed to keep the bridle stable on the horse. This avoids any pressure behind the ears and on the poll. We also believe that less is more. It’s beautiful to see your horse’s face without a browband. Still want a browband? These are available separately.

Material of the EDIX Grace bitless bridle:
Argentine leather
Sizes of the EDIX bridle:
Fitting the sidepull bridle
A sidepull fits like a normal bridle. The noseband should sit about four fingers above the horse's mouth. It should not rest on the fragile lower nasal bone. Try to keep a two-finger distance from the cheekbones. The chin strap should be snug, but make sure the horse can still comfortably open its mouth. If the chin strap is too loose, the aids will be less clear, and the risk of the horse losing the bridle increases.
Delivery of the EDIX bridle:
When ordering, you will receive only the headpiece. Reins can be ordered separately, allowing you to choose reins according to your preference.
Maintenance of Argentine leather:
For maintenance of the bridle, EDIX recommends using Oakwood products. Be mindful of light leather colors, as they may darken with care products. Always choose a product that is as colorless as possible.
