EquiAirbag Back Protector Vest with Integrated Airbag
The EquiAirbag Back Protector Vest by USG is a vest equipped with an integrated airbag, certified according to the European standard prEN 1621-4:2011. It protects the entire spine from the neck to the coccyx, preventing whiplash of the head. The airbag also avoids pushing the head forward. The EquiAirbag provides mobility and flexibility to ensure a safe fall.
It can be worn over a regular back protector but is not suitable for use under other garments.

Practical, Easy, and Safe
The EquiAirbag is activated by a special cable that is severed on the right front of the saddle. When the rider reaches the point of falling off the horse, the activation cable automatically triggers the EquiAirbag. It is not possible for the rider to get entangled with the horse through the cable. Once the EquiAirbag is inflated, it allows free movement, continued riding, mounting or dismounting, enabling the rider to stand up and move out of dangerous situations. The EquiAirbag can be used during daily riding without any issues, making it perfect for competitions or training, and can be loaded indefinitely if undamaged.

The vest, including the gas cartridge, weighs approximately 1.6 kg.
