    What is a groundwork stick?

    This Natural Horsemanship stick, also known as a carrot stick, serves as an extension of the human body during Natural Horsemanship or groundwork with your horse or pony. By extending your arm, you can give aids more easily to place the horse's body in positions that you may not be able to reach from your position. A stick does not serve the same function as a whip. Hence, the original name is carrot stick. However, nowadays, we often abbreviate it to stick. Carrot stick means "wortelstok" in Dutch. The idea behind it is that the horse should like the stick as much as a carrot. Therefore, the stick should not be used as a whip. A stick can be extended with a string or with a flag, as is the case with this stick.

    Stick with flag execution:

    The FRA stick is retractable, making it easy to carry or store. The stick is lightweight. The flag is adorned with the FRA logo.

    The stick has a silver metallic color, and the handle is available in two different colors:

    • Black
