    Advantages of the light grey fly mask:

    + No forelock hole, which is advantageous for horses with little to no forelock
    + Individual ear holes
    + Light color reflects heat
    + Softly finished with fleece and synthetic wool to prevent rubbing
    + Comfortable elastic closure for a good fit
    + Sturdy mesh material can withstand some impact
    + Velcro closure reinforced with nylon

     

    Disadvantages of the light grey fly mask:

    - No forelock hole, which is disadvantageous for horses with a lot of forelock as the mask may not fit properly
    - No protection for ears and nose against flies
    - In some herds, fellow members react to foreign, contrasting colors on the horse's body, for example, a light grey fly mask on a black horse. If this leads to unpleasant situations, it's better to choose a darker fly mask for a darker horse

     

    The fly mask is ideal for:

    • Horses or ponies with little to no forelock
    • Horses with a light coat color

    • Horses or ponies with a lot of forelock
