    Barefoot Pommel for Treeless Saddle

    Some brands of treeless saddles, such as Barefoot and EDIX, have a pommel that ensures the spine and withers remain free during riding with the treeless saddle. These pommels come in various width sizes, allowing for a suitable size for each horse. If the pommel in your saddle has become too wide or too narrow, you can separately order a new pommel.

    Advantages of a pommel in multiple sizes:

    Barefoot Pommel Size Guide:

    To determine the appropriate size for the Barefoot pommel for your horse, you can use the size template. The size template and instructions for use can be found HERE. Available in sizes S, M, L, and XXL.

    Barefoot Pommels are suitable for:

    • Barefoot saddles without a knob/fork
    • EDIX saddles where the pommel/fork can be exchanged using zippers

    Pommel Material:

    These pommels are made of smooth plastic, lightweight, with minimal flex. The new model has a narrow top, making it easier to fit into older saddle models. The smooth plastic also makes it easier to slide the pommels into the saddle.
