The basis of Vitalbix Daily Complete consists of fiber-rich alfalfa, a source of easily digestible proteins. The added chicory pulp, with a high content of inulin, has a prebiotic effect on the intestines and promotes a healthy intestinal flora. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids from linseed and sunflower seeds support a healthy immune system.
Preventing problems
With a proper feeding policy—adequate roughage and Vitalbix Daily Complete—many problems can be prevented. However, this feeding policy can also be effectively used for existing problems such as summer eczema, PPID (Cushing's disease), and metabolic problems such as insulin resistance, laminitis, EMS, and EPSM (tying-up syndrome).

Vitalbix Daily Complete contains no grains and is molasses-free and oat-free. It contains only 2.9% sugar and 3% starch, making it suitable for horses sensitive to starch and sugars.
Balanced levels of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements
All vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in Vitalbix Daily Complete are added separately (no premix), so the levels are exactly tailored to the Recommended Daily Allowances that the horse needs according to the CVB guidelines. The calculation is based on a diet of unlimited roughage and the average nutritional values of hay.
Vitamin and mineral ratios
Not only the exact levels of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements are important for a healthy diet, but also the ratios between these nutrients are just as important. When there are imbalanced ratios, the substances will compete with each other, leading to deficiencies and resulting health problems.
