Keralit Hoof Strengthener

The Keralit hoof strengthener makes the hoof wall and sole stronger, reducing the likelihood of rapid wear and chipping, thus making it less susceptible to bacterial and fungal attack.

Makes the hoof less susceptible to bacterial and fungal attack (White Line Disease).
Due to the reinforcement of the sole and hoof wall, your horse is less sensitive during the transition phase after removing the shoes.
Does not form a water-repellent layer like many other hoof preparations do. The water-absorbing and breathable properties of the hoof horn are preserved.
Penetrates well into cracks and fissures.
Only the outer layer of the hoof wall or sole (keratin) is strengthened/stabilized by about 0.5 mm.

Hoof Hardener and Nutrition:

Often, overall hoof quality is the issue, which can be improved by adjusting nutrition, such as administering supplements like Biotin. However, it takes considerable time for the effects to be noticeable as Biotin only influences the quality of newly formed horn. Until then, Keralit hoof hardener is an excellent means to optimize the quality of the hoof wall and sole.
