What is the difference between the Ride on Pad and the Ride on Pad Physio?
The Physio model of Barefoot has an additional "Physio" pad attached to the underside of the barebackpad with Velcro (see last photo). In the Physio pad, you can insert the supplied inserts. This creates spinal freedom and better pressure distribution under the barebackpad, which is much more comfortable for the horse and often for the rider as well.

Benefits of the Barefoot Ride on Pad Physio:
- Good anatomical fit for many horses and ponies

Not suitable for:
- The patches are lined with lambskin on the inside, which is not sheep-friendly
- Some riders find the patches interfere with leg contact, but they can be easily removed
The Ride on Pad Physio is ideal for:
- Horses with low to high withers and a need for spinal protection.
- Intensive riding with a bareback pad
Less suitable for:
Horses with extremely high withers. A and B ponies
Size information:
The Barefoot Ride on Pad Physio is only available in horse-cob size. This size is suitable for horses, D and E ponies, and some wide C ponies.

Good pressure distribution of the bareback pad:
The bareback pad is equipped with removable insert pockets. These can be filled with the two types of inserts provided, neoprene or PU foam. This creates spine freedom under your bareback pad. You can choose to use only one type of insert. However, if desired, you can also place both inserts in the insert pockets, providing even more spine freedom and pressure distribution.
Girth:
This bareback pad does not come with a girth. You will need a dressage girth to ride with this bareback pad.

Warranty:
This bareback pad comes with a two-year warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damages caused by external influences.
