Grandeur Riding Pad, Pressure-Distributing Bareback Pad with Horse-Friendly V-Girth System
The Grandeur Riding Pad bareback pad, like the Grandeur Tomentum Bareback Saddles, features a chamber construction with inserts for proper spine freedom and pressure distribution. The riding pad offers slightly less wither and spine freedom compared to the Tomentum Bareback Saddles but is still suitable for high-withered horses. More attention has been paid to rider comfort with the riding pad; the seat is filled with soft foam, providing a narrower seat. If you find the Grandeur Tomentum Bareback Saddles too wide, then this bareback pad is definitely recommended. A new feature is the V-girth system, which distributes girth pressure better and provides a more stable fit for the bareback pad. Initially, the Grandeur Riding Pad was supplied with a smooth leather upper side, as seen in the photos on the horse, but this has been replaced by Alcantara. This provides better grip for the rider and makes the bareback pad more affordable, as shown in the materials in the photos with a white background.

Disadvantages of Grandeur Anatomical Bareback Pad:
- Multiple inserts reduce the close-contact feeling
- The underside of this bareback pad is not ideal for use directly on the horse's bare back; a pad or pad with inserts must be used underneath
- The bareback pad cannot be washed
The V-system Grandeur bareback pad is ideal for:
- From sturdy C ponies to horses
- Horses and/or ponies with low to high withers

Girth not included:
Delivery of this bareback pad does not include a girth, so you can choose/use a dressage girth according to your preference. The bareback pad is equipped with long dressage girth straps. A very suitable matching girth is the V-system girth, which optimizes the V-girth system in the bareback pad.

Maintenance and use of bareback pad:
To protect your bareback pad from dirt, it is advisable to use a pad under the bareback pad. Preferably, use a pad with inserts if your horse has a prominent spine. The underside of the bareback pad is almost impossible to wash, so this is highly recommended. You can brush and vacuum it to remove dust.
