When does the horse suffer from accumulated sand?

This can be easily tested by filling half a bucket with water and adding 5 to 6 manure balls. Let the bucket stand for an hour and then check the contents. If there is more than 1 teaspoon of sand at the bottom of the bucket, the horse has ingested too much sand. It is advisable to give the horse Sand Clear to prevent digestive discomfort!

Feeding advice:

Horse up to 450 kg: 50 g twice a day for 6 days.
Horse over 450 kg: 100 g twice a day for 6 days.
