FRA treeless saddles have become EDIX treeless saddles:
The FRA treeless saddle line has continued under the name EDIX saddles. If you are looking for accessories for your "old" FRA treeless saddle, you can choose the EDIX accessories.
Pressure distribution of saddle and pad:
It would be more accurate to speak of a saddle combination rather than just a saddle. Inextricably linked with a treeless saddle is a pad tailored to it. This pad forms the basis of the saddle. The pad lifts the saddle up a bit and, together with the saddle, ensures that there is space between the spine and saddle combination. The saddle itself has separate, built-in, pressure-relieving anatomically shaped soft foam parts. Together with the pad with rubber foam inserts, shock absorption and resilience are created, with a tunnel for spinal freedom. This construction provides an extremely stable, flexible, and soft contact surface with the horse's back. The pad is not included, but can be ordered separately.
Rider comfort EDIX Tiamo Treeless Western Saddle:
The EDIX Tiamo saddle offers the rider a soft and stable seat due to the complete absence of hard materials. The suppleness of the materials used makes the saddle an extremely flexible unit. As a result, the saddle can follow the movements of the horse's back and shoulders in all directions, thus providing the horse with optimal freedom of movement.
Leather Western Saddle:
The leather used is soft and supple.
Pressure distributing girth attachment:
Unique girth attachment. The pressure is distributed over the front and back of the saddle, not like many saddles over the middle of the back! By adjusting the girth attachment, you can position the girth correctly without the saddle slipping too far forward or backward.
Western girth not included:
The saddle does not come with a girth. A Western girth of your choice can be used.
Equipped with D-rings:
Equipped with 6 D-rings for attaching luggage or saddlebags.
Sizes of Edix Treeless Western Saddle:
The EDIX® Tiamo saddle is available in four length sizes:
- XS = 13 inches
- S = 15 inches
- M = 17 inches
- L = 19 inches
The EDIX Tiamo saddle comes standard with size M fork. Also available separately are the sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL forks. With these, you can adjust the width size of your saddle to fit the horse's back.

The EDIX Tiamo saddle is available in brown and black.
