Design BK Suede bareback pad:
The support bareback pad is constructed from extra thick high-density foam. It has an additional thickening at the front and back, providing the rider with extra support and protecting the horse's withers. The bareback pad has an anatomical backline. The top is made of real suede and the bottom of non-slip sympanova. Equipped with leather dressage girth straps and a leather handle. Comes with non-slip patches and a non-slip sympanova girth, and can also be used with your own dressage girth if desired.
Advantages of the support bareback pad:

Disadvantages of the suede bareback pad:
- Some riders may find the patches in the leg contact bothersome, but they are easily removable.
- The patches may make the bareback pad too long for some ponies, but they are easily removable.
- The suede upper reduces the rider's freedom of movement.
- The seat of the bareback pad is less densely padded than the outer edges/pommels of the bareback pad.
- Comes standard with short girths; for large horses, you need your own longer girth.
The Support bareback pad is ideal for:
- Horses and/or ponies with no to medium-high withers
- Riders looking for a lot of grip and support
- Approximately 2 to 3 times a week of use
- With pad with inserts suitable for approximately 3 to 4 times a week of use
Less suitable for:
- Horses and/or ponies with prominent spine, without extra underlay to protect the spine
- Intensive use without extra underlay to protect the back
- Riders who want a lot of (movement) freedom
No stirrup straps on the bareback pad:
To prevent pressure points on the vertebrae, stirrups cannot be attached to the Support bareback pad. Moreover, the rider gets a false sense of security and is less encouraged to train an independent seat with stirrups.

The bareback pad comes with a girth:
If the supplied girth is too long, you can remove the non-slip patches and make holes in the girth straps. Or choose another/your own shorter/longer dressage girth. If the supplied girth is too short, you can use any type of dressage girth with this bareback pad that you and your horse prefer.

Bareback pad maintenance:
Clean with a soft brush and/or wet cloth. To maintain the product/suede, occasionally spray the bareback pad with leather impregnation spray to make it more dirt and water repellent.
