Design of the Western pad with inserts:
The pad is anatomically shaped for an optimal fit. On both sides of the spine, there is a large insert pocket for inserts that run the entire length of the pad and can be closed with Velcro. Because of the inserts on both sides of the spine, additional spine freedom is created under the saddle, and the pad does not press or rub on the spine during riding. This is especially important for many treeless saddles, as not all treeless saddles provide sufficient spine freedom. However, this can also be a nice addition to "normal" Western saddles.

Care and cleaning of the treeless Western pad with inserts:
To keep the pad in good condition for a long time, it is advisable to clean it occasionally with a vacuum cleaner if it is a bit dirty. If the pad really needs to be washed, it can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees, but do not put it in the dryer. Remove the inserts before washing, then the pad will dry much faster. Preferably use a gentle wool wash program and a wool-leather detergent.
