Advantages of the Startrekk Espaniola and Pressure Distribution:
The Startrekk Espaniola saddle offers the appearance of a "normal" baroque/Spanish saddle with a narrow and stable seat. The saddle has the advantages of a treeless saddle, including flexibility that adapts to the horse's back shape and does not impede the horse's movement. The removable pommels allow for individual adjustment of the saddle in different widths. Alternatively, an adjustable pommel can be chosen. This allows the rider to adjust the saddle themselves if necessary, without having to buy a new pommel. Together with the cushions, the pommel ensures wither and spine freedom. The saddle is equipped with Velcro cushions, which are available in various thicknesses to ensure an optimal fit. The V-girth system distributes the girth pressure evenly and ensures a stable fit, even on short-backed horses. The saddle is delivered without stirrup leathers, stirrups, pad, and girth; matching accessories are available separately.

Width:
The Startrekk Espaniola saddle is available in 5 widths:
- Pommel K1, comparable to width 6 on the Sprenger-Widerristmesser
- Pommel K2, comparable to width 5 on the Sprenger-Widerristmesser
- Pommel K3, comparable to width 4 on the Sprenger-Widerristmesser
- Pommel K4, comparable to width 3 on the Sprenger-Widerristmesser
- Pommel K5, comparable to width 2 on the Sprenger-Widerristmesser
Alternatively, you can choose an adjustable pommel called Delfin. This pommel can be adjusted in all 5 different sizes with the included Allen key. Ideal if you're not sure which size is best for your horse, or if your horse is still growing or developing muscles. The surcharge for an adjustable pommel is €129.
It is possible, when ordering a saddle in size K2, to later order a wider or narrower pommel separately and install it yourself in your saddle. However, this is not as easy to adjust as the adjustable Delfin pommel. A separate pommel costs €108. These separate pommels are finished in a more Spanish style than the Delfin pommel. A separate Delfin pommel (to be installed later by yourself) costs €198.

Leather types and colors:
The Startrekk Espaniola saddle is made with two types of leather, a base material and nubuck or nappa leather for the seat. There are various colors to choose from. Please note that the following color images may vary due to screen quality, and because leather is a natural product, each piece of leather may vary.

Nappa leather is soft and has a light texture on the surface.
Seat leather Nubuck:
Nubuck is a type of suede that has a slightly brushed surface, providing the rider with a little more grip.

The edges of the saddle can be decorated with leather carving.

Hardware color:
You can choose between silver-colored or brass-colored hardware for the saddle, buckles, and rings, etc.
Cushions:
As described above, removable cushions are included at the bottom of the Startrekk Espaniola. These cushions are available in various materials, and a separate set can also be ordered later (they cost €148 each). Upon special request, a cushion can also be produced with, for example, thinner padding at the front than at the back. However, it must be precisely specified how the cushion should be filled.

Knee rolls:
The saddle can be supplied with or without Velcro knee rolls, for attachment under the sweat flap. This provides the rider with additional support. With knee rolls, the saddle costs an extra €69.
Usage advice:
For optimal pressure distribution and spine freedom, we recommend using a pad with inserts during use. For example, a Grandeur pad, which is specially tailored to your Startrekk. In the insert compartments, you can choose the type of inserts yourself and optionally choose a slightly thicker insert in specific areas.
Maintenance:
Startrekk recommends storing the saddle in a dark, dry, and cool place on a saddle stand. Dirt and sweat should be regularly removed with a damp cloth or saddle soap. To maintain the quality of the leather, it is advisable to grease the saddle with leather oil 1 to 2 times a year (after cleaning). Do not use too much leather oil. In between, the saddle can also be occasionally greased with leather balm, but use very sparingly to avoid compromising the stability of the leather. Please note Nubuck leather: Nubuck leather cannot be maintained with leather oil and balm. Instead, use only saddle soap and, if necessary, a water repellent spray to keep the nubuck water-resistant. Please note light leather: Light-colored leather will darken with oil. Therefore, use only balm. Before using a product for maintenance, always test it on an inconspicuous area to see how the leather reacts to the product before using it on the entire saddle.
Guarantee:
With proper use, good maintenance, and correct storage of the saddle, the warranty period is 2 years. The original invoice and warranty card are required to claim the warranty. There is no warranty for leather irregularities, as leather is a natural product, and for example, a small scar from the animal may become visible. In addition, there is no warranty for wear-sensitive parts such as girth loops, girth, stirrup leathers, and hardware.

Delivery:
Please note that the saddle is delivered without accessories required for use. However, Velcro cushions for the underside are included as standard.
Delivery time:
A Startrekk saddle is specially made to your preferences (color and leather carving) in South America. Therefore, the saddles have a delivery time of approximately 10-12 weeks.
