Startrekk Dressage & Pressure Distribution:
The Startrekk Dressage Saddle features the appearance and seat of an English saddle, with a narrow and stable seat. The saddle flap is straight, making it ideal for dressage. The saddle offers the benefits of a treeless saddle, with flexibility that adapts to the horse's back and does not interfere with its movement. The removable pommel inserts allow the saddle to be adjusted in various widths, providing freedom for the withers and spine along with the cushions. Startrekk's English saddle line features wool-filled cushions that can be adjusted to the individual horse's back if needed. The saddle has removable plastic stabilizers that allow you to adjust the saddle's flexibility. Without stabilizers, the saddle is even more flexible. The saddle is delivered without accessories, such as stirrup leathers, stirrups, pad, and girth. Matching accessories are available separately.

Width measurement for Startrekk Dressage:
To determine the correct width, Startrekk has developed a template. The template and how to use it can be found HERE. Your saddle will be delivered in the desired width. If your horse's width changes or you use the saddle on a different horse, you can order a different size of pommel inserts and insert them into the saddle yourself. You can also directly order a separate pommel insert size if your horse regularly gains or loses weight and muscle.
Saddle fitting service:
Although you can determine the width you need using the template, we recommend inviting a saddle fitter to your horse to adjust the saddle. This avoids disappointment later on. Since a treeless Startrekk saddle is not as flexible as a treeless saddle from Barefoot or EDIX, the fit needs to be a bit more precise. Additionally, we offer you the service of trying out your newly ordered saddle for 14 days after delivery. If you buy a Startrekk saddle without fitting or testing, you won't have this option. Leather and color choice with Startrekk Dressage:
Startrekk saddles are made in various types and colors of leather. Different colors for the fittings and different finishes. With Startrekk Dressage, you can choose the base leather, seat leather, color of the stitching, and color of the fittings yourself. Also, of course, the size.
Base leather:
The base leather colors are shown in the "Smooth Leather" image:

- Chestnut
- HB2
- Havana

- Black
It is also possible to make the saddle entirely from nubuck leather (photo 2). Nubuck leather is lightly brushed and grippier. This gives you a very stable seat. If you want this, choose one of the following nubuck leather colors in the base leather selection menu:
Seat leather:
The seat leather is the type of leather used on the seat of the saddle and on the knee pads. You can choose between smooth nappa leather or lightly brushed nubuck leather. Nubuck leather is slightly grippier.
Additionally, Aspen leather is available for the seat, in the colors:
- Tobacco
- Rattan
- Bromeer
- Black
Startrekk Dressage stitching
You can also choose the colors of the stitching. You have the following options:
- White (standard)
- Black (standard)
- Gray
- Blue
- Brown (standard)
- Cognac
- Beige
Note that the standard colors are included in the price. There is an additional charge for the other colors, see the selection menu.
Fittings:
You can have your Startrekk Dressage saddle finished with silver or gold-colored fittings. These are the rings.

Delivery time:
Since Startrekk saddles are available in so many colors, types of leather, and leather cuts, unfortunately, it is not possible to have all options in stock.
