Fit of Synergy Western Pad:
This western pad, designed with an anatomical shape, is designed to follow your horse's back, providing a more natural fit. The pad is split and reinforced with leather (4) along the spine, making both sides separate. This makes the pad more flexible along the spine and conforms more easily to the horse's back.
Topside of Western Pad:
The top (3) is made of high-quality 100% New Zealand wool. The wool topper has a luxurious appearance.
Underside of Western Pad with Inserts:
On both sides of the spine, at the underside of the wool topper, there is an EVA sport foam insert (1). Perforated to allow the pad to breathe, the foam also provides excellent shock absorption. The foam is finished with a thick layer of soft wool felt (2), ensuring spine freedom. Due to its shock absorption and spine freedom, this pad is also suitable for use under treeless western saddles as well as normal western saddles.
Inserts in Western Pad for Treeless Saddle:
The inserts in this pad are made of EVA sport foam, also used in the velcro cushions of Startrekk treeless saddles. EVA sport foam has proven compression resistance. The foam is perforated to allow the pad to breathe. EVA sport foam is also highly shock-absorbing. The material retains its shock absorption properties even in the long term. Therefore, it is not a problem that the inserts of this pad cannot be removed.
