The Santos pad is specially made for the Santos western saddles. The shape of the pad is adapted to the form of the treeless EDIX western saddle Santos.

Material of the treeless western pad
- Top side: Very strong cotton quilt fabric, reinforced with nylon at the bottom where the girth and rider's leg come into contact with the pad.
- Filling: Felt

Shape of the treeless Santos pad
The pad is anatomically shaped for optimal comfort. The front of the pad is cut out to provide wither clearance. Because the pad is elevated with inserts on both sides of the back, spine freedom is achieved.
There are 8 pockets for inserts. On each side, there is one large pocket and on the underside, there is one that runs across the entire pad, which can be closed with Velcro. On the top side, there are 3 small pockets that can be filled separately in the front, middle, and back.
Care for the Santos western pad
To prolong the lifespan of the pad, it is recommended to clean the pad occasionally with a vacuum cleaner when it is slightly dirty. If the pad needs to be washed, it can be machine washed up to 30 degrees, but do not put it in the dryer.
