Features of the Signor Barebackpad
The bareback pad is equipped with a pocket on each side to carry some luggage during the ride and various D-rings to attach a breastplate or a small harness needed for your trail ride. The leather handle at the front provides an easy way to transport your pad from your horse to the stable or your car. Due to the complete absence of rigid load-bearing components in the EDIX BBP Signor, the horse can move freely, especially the muscles of the back and shoulders of the horse. This allows refined communication between you and your horse. The pad is made of a base of sturdy and strong foam padded cotton, with a seating area and abrasion section, a bottom and a removable zipper, seating area made of high-quality genuine Merino® lambskin. As a rider, you find support and comfort through the high blocks and the cantle of stable but flexible foam.
Inlays of the EDIX bareback pad
On either side of the spine, there are 2 large insert pockets, which can be opened at the front of the pad by releasing the Velcro. Each pocket offers two chambers where a felt insert and a 3 mesh insert are applied. Of course, another type of insert can be chosen as needed. Equipped with both inserts combined with an optimally balanced position for the rider, excellent pressure distribution is achieved. Where a rider chooses to use stirrups during a ride, always pay attention to the intensity of use and check your horse and inserts for comfort and wear after each ride. The stirrup attachment is made at the position where the inserts are positioned in the pad. So the weight the rider adds to the stirrups is distributed over the different layers that make up this pad. Thus, the weight the rider adds to the stirrups is distributed over the different layers that make up this pad. With the last being the natural Merino sheepskin with its 30 mm wool fibers effectively distributing perspiration outward and absorbing shocks.
Signor V Girth System
The Signor is equipped with a V girth system. D-rings are attached to it to which the girth straps are attached. This ensures that the girth straps lie better in the correct girth position on your horse or pony. The V girth system distributes the girth pressure over a larger area of the horse's back. With intensive use, this is extra comfortable for the horse.
Bareback pad use
Since the entire fur lambskin is used instead of shorn and woven wool, the benefits of this natural material are optimally utilized. Therefore, it is advisable to use the bareback pad directly on the horse's back without adding a cotton saddle pad.
