What is Circle Y:

The Circle Y cinching system for Western saddles is a triangular connection consisting of a 3-point strap, Circle Y Patch, and a normal Tie Strap/Off Billet, which distributes the occurring girth pressure over a larger area of the saddle as the girth position is attached to the saddle front and back, instead of just front/middle. Additionally, the position of the girth itself can be adjusted forward or backward for the horse's benefit.

The Circle Y cinching system is ideal for:

Most EDIX Western saddles except for some older EDIX Equis models
Western saddles prone to tilting/sinking forward due to uneven girth pressure
Treeless Western saddles that rock back at the rear
Western saddles equipped with double C rigging (rings for attaching the Tie Strap/Off Billet and the back cinch) Without a rear ring, it is not possible to attach the Circle Y cinching system.
