    Product description

Anatomical V-System Dressage Girth by HKM

This anatomically shaped V-System dressage girth from HKM helps stabilize your saddle and exert even pressure on your girth straps. This is achieved through interconnected buckles that always apply equal pressure.

    • Pressure distribution on girth straps
    • Anatomically shaped
    • Better pressure distribution over the back
    • Stabilizes the saddle
    • V-System
    • Elastic

Uneven pressure on the girth straps?

Have you ever tightened your saddle and found that one girth strap is tight while the other is a little loose, and vice versa? This can cause the front or back of your saddle to press harder on your horse's back than the other side, which is not intended. A V-System dressage girth can be a solution. The buckles on this girth are connected by sturdy nylon straps, balancing each other out. This ensures equal pressure on both girth straps. Uneven pressure on the girth straps is common with V-saddle systems and with horses that become slightly thicker shortly after the saddle position.

The V-System girth can also help stabilize the back of the saddle if you have a V-saddle system in your saddle. The V-saddle system is designed to distribute pressure across the entire saddle, thus also fitting the back of the saddle well to the horse's back. If you have less pressure on the rear girth strap than on the front one, the back of your saddle may start to rock. The V-System girth can be the solution.

Anatomical shape of the pressure-distributing girth:

The anatomical shape allows freedom of movement for the front legs and elbows and provides space for the skin and fur in motion. The "notches" in the girth should therefore face towards the front legs. The straight side of the girth should face towards the belly.

Material of the HKM dressage girth:

The girth is made of soft leather and reinforced with nylon. Additionally, a small piece of elastic is incorporated on both sides to allow your horse's chest to move for breathing. The girth is equipped with roller buckles to minimize stress on your girth straps and facilitate tightening.

    Colors of the pressure-distributing girth:

The girth is available in black.
