The Vitalbix XL boxes are sturdy cardboard boxes with a resealable lid.
By cutting into the XL Box, you can easily access the feed, even as the box starts to empty. The XL Box comes with a liner (plastic bag) that is resealable and is delivered on a Euro pallet. Free delivery to the agreed location.

This product has a delivery time of approximately 2 weeks. The product is specially produced for your stable to ensure it is always fresh and has the longest possible shelf life. The shelf life is then 8 months, and we recommend feeding the product within 4 to 5 months.

- Contains less energy than Vitalbix Active Muesli. Therefore, less suitable for sport horses. Would you still like to feed Balance+ Muesli to your sport horse? For example, because you want to feed alfalfa-free? Supplement the Balance Muesli with Vitalbix Fiber Mix and Linseed Oil for additional energy from fibers and fats.
The advantages of Balance+:
Vitalbix Balance+ Muesli is a complete muesli with a balancer that includes some healthy extras like extra Vitamin E, B-vitamins, silicon, amino acids, and easily digestible fibers. All-in-One! The + (Plus) behind the word Balance indicates this.
- Extra high dose of Vitamin E, ideal if your horse cannot or should not eat much grass.
- B-vitamins, healthy horses produce enough, but due to stress, age, or sensitive intestines, production may be lower.
- Silicon, supports the maintenance of healthy bones, cartilage, hooves, skin, and coat.

Recommended amount of Vitalbix Balance+:
Vitalbix Balance+ Muesli is an ideal muesli that can be fed without further additions: it is concentrated and very complete. The amount you feed depends on the amount of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids your horse needs: this increases with the level of activity. Below you'll find the grams (not kilograms!) per day. This is up to 30 to 75% less than regular mueslis!
No work: 100 grams of muesli per 100 kg of body weight
A 500 kg horse is fed 500 grams per day.
Light work: 120 grams of muesli per 100 kg of body weight
A 500 kg horse is fed 600 grams per day.
Moderate work: 140 grams of muesli per 100 kg of body weight
A 500 kg horse is fed 700 grams per day.
Heavy work: 160 grams of muesli per 100 kg of body weight
A 500 kg horse is fed 800 grams per day.
Very heavy work: 180 grams of muesli per 100 kg of body weight
A 500 kg horse is fed 900 grams per day.
