Freeform Evolution base without seat
Please note: Here you are only ordering the base of the Freeform Evolution saddle. A seat is not included, and the Velcro cushions are also not included. These need to be selected and ordered separately.
Features of the Freeform Evolution base:
The Freeform Evolution base distinguishes itself significantly from other Freeform bases. It is not molded with the standard Freeform foam but handmade from a softer type of foam, which makes it challenging to guarantee 100% symmetry (although efforts are made towards this). This makes the base ideal for very sensitive horses that tolerate minimal rigidity. However, it is less suitable for heavy riders or prolonged use. Therefore, it is not available in the standard length but only in an extra short back size. The base comes standard with the Quick Change girth strap system and can optionally be equipped with the Centifire girth system for additional stability.

Matching Freeform treeless saddle seats:
The Freeform Evolution base can be combined with a seat without a sweat flap or a seat with a sweat flap. Only the Pathfinder and Scout seats are unsuitable for the Freeform Evolution base. In the former case, the saddle will have more of an endurance/Western appearance. With a seat with a sweat flap, it will resemble more of an English saddle.

The leather is available in soft varieties such as calfskin, suede, and nubuck, and is practically available in all colors of the rainbow. See color options in the menu and images. Please note, colors may change annually. During a saddle fitting, we provide available color samples.

With this base, you receive only the girth straps and stirrup strap attachments. Not included are:

To ride with this saddle base, you will need a seat, stirrup leathers, stirrups, girth, and Velcro cushions or pads with inserts.
