Disadvantages of grazing muzzle:

A grazing muzzle is ideal for:

overweight horses that need to lose weight

horses that are overweight but can still go out with their herd wearing a grazing muzzle

Instructions for use grazing muzzle:

Introduce the muzzle gradually to your horse. Do not let them wear it 24 hours a day right away. They need to learn to eat and drink with this grazing muzzle. Check the fit, especially around the nose. The grazing muzzle should not be tight around the nose, as it may chafe when the horse chews. There should be some clearance around the nose, but not too much, or it will make it easier for the horse to remove the muzzle.

Maintenance of grazing muzzle:

For your horse's comfort, clean the inside of the muzzle regularly, as they will snort and lick against it. In case of severe contamination, wash the entire grazing muzzle with halter in a bucket once.
