The FRA Dardo BASIC Bareback Pad
The FRA Dardo BASIC is the little brother of the FRA Dardo. The basic version is slightly thinner and does not have a pressure-distributing V-girth system.

The upper side of the bareback pad is made of suede-like material (artificial suede) with hard-wearing synthetic leather under the leg position. It is filled with high-density foam, especially thick around the withers. The whole pad is quilted with polypropylene. The underside has a perforated non-slip neoprene layer, Sympanova. This material is easy to maintain, shock-absorbing, hygienic, and temperature-regulating. The bareback pad is anatomically shaped and has a detachable handle.

Disadvantages of the Dardo BASIC bareback pad:
- Foam filling is not thick enough for intensive use (for intensive use, choose a bareback pad with inserts that protect the spine or place a pad with inserts under the Dardo)
- no spine clearance
- no pressure-distributing V-girth system
FRA Dardo is ideal for:
Horses and ponies with no to medium-high withers. Light use, about 1-2 times a week. The Dardo is less suitable for: Horses and ponies with extremely high withers. Horses and ponies with poorly developed back muscles (for poorly developed back muscles, choose a bareback pad with inserts that protect the spine or place a pad with inserts under the Dardo basic) Horses and ponies with a prominent/well-feelable spine (for a horse/pony with a prominent spine, choose a bareback pad with inserts that protect the spine or place a pad with inserts under the Dardo) Intensive use (for intensive use, choose a bareback pad with inserts that protect the spine or place a pad with inserts under the Dardo)
