Equifyt Zupa Mash
Zupa has been the number one nutritious mash for horses for years. It is a product without ‘heating agents’ but packed with nutrients. The Zupa mash is a well-thought-out blend of linseed, various grasses, herbs, and beet pulp. The calcium-phosphorus ratio is adjusted so that the feed forms an ideal combination with hay.

Recommended feeding method:
Zupa is a mash, never feed it without soaking it in water first!
Zupa does not contain a balancer; therefore, it is recommended to feed a balancer alongside it to meet the vitamin and mineral needs.
Mix one part feed with five to six parts water and let it soak long enough.
- Cold water: minimum 2 hours
- Warm water: minimum 30 minutes
We advise preparing the Zupa in the morning for the evening and in the evening for the next morning. In winter and spring, you can let the Zupa soak for up to 24 hours before feeding without negatively affecting the product. During warmer periods of the year, it is better to feed the prepared Zupa within 12 hours. Store the prepared Zupa in a cool place to prevent fermentation or spoilage.
- As a supplement to hay, haylage, and grazing
- 100 to 200g Zupa (= 600g to 1,200g prepared Zupa) per 100 kg body weight.
- The amount of feed should be adjusted according to the age and daily energy needs of your horse or pony.
- Note: Store dry and out of reach of horses.
