Ever had that moment? You quickly fill the water troughs and start mucking out the stables, then suddenly remember you're still filling the troughs—and yes, the whole paddock is flooded. With the Waterbuddy, that’s a thing of the past!
The Waterbuddy is a convenient tool that can be used for filling water troughs. It works with a float that slowly rises as the water level increases. Once the float is fully inside the trough, the water supply stops automatically.
By attaching the garden hose to the Waterbuddy, which is screwed to your water trough, you also prevent the hose from going rogue and spraying water everywhere except in the trough.
You can either use it only during filling or leave the Waterbuddy attached so the trough automatically refills after drinking.

Water from groundwater pumps. These sometimes have a much higher pressure than standard water supplies, which could cause the Waterbuddy to leak. We advise against using it with a groundwater pump unless it has a pressure regulator. It's also possible to use a separate pressure regulator (available at most hardware stores or from a plumber).

Note: To attach a garden hose to the Waterbuddy, a tap connector is required, which can be selected during the order process. These connectors are often included with garden hoses, so you might already have one and not need to order it separately.
Packaging:
This product comes in plastic packaging. For shipping, it will also be packed in a suitable box, preferably a reused second-hand box.
