The EDIX velvet sheepskin dressage pad is anatomically shaped for an optimal fit. The pad has spinal clearance thanks to the inserts on both sides of the spine, and the sheepskin near the spine is short-shorn. The advantage of shorn sheepskin is that there are no irritating seams around the spine. The top of the pad is made of velvet cotton, and the underside of the insert pockets is made of Merino sheepskin. The sheepskin is antibacterial, improves pressure distribution, and prevents chafing. There are 8 pockets for inserts/shims: one large pocket on each side running the full length of the pad and 3 smaller ones for separate filling at the front, middle, and back.
