Freeform Enduro Extreme Base without Seat
Note: You are ordering only the base of the saddle. The seat is not included, nor are the Velcro cushions and removable sweat flap. These are selected separately and ordered individually.
Features of the Freeform Enduro Extreme Base:
Freeform has developed a new concept in collaboration with a rider who covers extreme distances with her Freeform saddles. However, she doesn’t ride these distances every day and wanted a saddle with versatile use. The idea arose to separate the seat and sweat flap, making the sweat flap a detachable part of the saddle. This allows you to decide whether to ride with or without a sweat flap on any given day. In saddle fitting services, we've discovered that this also improves the personalized adjustment of a saddle. We can position the sweat flap relative to the seat in the perfect position for the leg. At the time of writing, two types of sweat flaps without knee rolls are available.
The Enduro base has also been slightly modified for this new option. It has been made 5mm thinner and reinforced with leather to maintain pressure distribution. The slightly thinner base works well with the use of a detachable sweat flap. The shape remains the same, but the Enduro Extreme is equipped with the Centifire girthing system as standard. As with the standard Enduro, all seats without a long fixed sweat flap can be used.

Matching Freeform Treeless Saddle Seats:
Almost all Freeform seats can be combined with the Enduro base, except for the Scout and Pathfinder seats. Seats with a fixed long sweat flap can also be combined. It is important to choose the seat that best fits the rider.

Size, back length, and side length (same as the regular Enduro):
- Standard: 56x33cm
- SB: 51x33cm
- XSB: 47x33cm
Material of the Freeform Enduro:
Calf leather, suede, or nubuck (an additional charge applies for nubuck). According to the customer’s choice.
Freeform Soft Leather Colors:
The leather is available in soft leather types such as calf leather, suede, and nubuck, in virtually all colors of the rainbow. See colors in the selection menu and images. Note that colors may vary each year. During a saddle fitting visit, we bring small samples of available colors.
The Freeform stitching is available in the colors:
- Black
- Brown
- Hazelnut
- Burgundy
- Blue
- Red
- Gray
- Bordeaux
Freeform Enduro Extreme Base Options:
The available options are listed in the selection menu. For various options, an additional charge applies, which is visible in the selection menu:
- Withers clearance: 9 or 13 cm
- Stitch pattern: Enduro stitching or no stitching
- Underside of the saddle: Sympanova, wool, suede, or calfskin
- D rings: 5, 9, or 13
The Freeform Extreme Base comes with/without:
With this base, you only receive the girth straps and stirrup bar attachment. Not included are:
- Seat
- Sweat flap
- Velcro cushions
- Stirrup leathers and stirrups
- Girth
You will need the seat, stirrup leathers, stirrups, girth, and Velcro cushions or a pad with inserts to ride with this saddle base. The sweat flap is an optional choice.
