What is Groundwork?

In principle, groundwork encompasses all the work or training you do with your horse from the ground. With groundwork, you can engage in many different activities such as lunging, liberty work, ground driving, long lining, free training, walking, obstacle training, Horse Agility, and spook training. During groundwork, you work with your horse purely through body language and posture.

Natural Horsemanship
