Green oat for horses low in starch content:

Particularities:
The oats are free of grains in order to keep the starch content low. The Grünhafer or green oat is a type of grass that is harvested immediately after flowering, before starch is stored in the oat. The green oat is dried with warm air, making it free of fungi and bacteria. The large amount of crude fiber promotes chewing activity and salivary production, which prevents stomach and intestinal problems. It contains many vitamins and minerals and is low in starch (0.70%) and sugar (2.03%), and free of molasses. The calcium/phosphorus ratio is completely balanced. It promotes digestion, immunity, and metabolism.

- A grain-free diet, where grains can be replaced with green oats
- Horses with digestive problems
- Horses with metabolic diseases
- Sensitive and allergic horses, because the product is dried with warm air
- Horses that cannot tolerate (high amounts of) sugars and starches
- Horses that eat too quickly, Grunhafer slows down foraging behavior and can be mixed with other feed

Recommended feeding method:
- Instead of roughage: 100 to 500 grams per 100 kg of body weight
- Instead of concentrate feed: 1.2 kg of green oats replaces 1 kg of grains
- For a complete vitamin and mineral dosage, combine with a vitamin and mineral pellet, for example: Agrobs Weidemineral Cobs, Seniormineral or Naturmineral

There is no free shipping for horse feed.
Horse feed is never shipped for free, even when the order is larger than 99,- euro. This is due to the weight, which means that the bales and bags have to be packaged in different packages and most products have to be shipped individually. If you order 10 bales/bags at 15kg each, you can expect them to be delivered in 5 to 10 packages.
Agrobs is a European product.
Agrobs horse feed is produced in Europe, Germany. It does not have to travel around the world to reach our store and therefore has a smaller environmental impact compared to horse feed from other regions. The production meets high European environmental and social standards.
