Grandeur Halfpad with inserts for a treeless saddle, allowing you to use a "regular" pad under your treeless saddle.
With a half pad, you improve spine freedom and pressure distribution under a (treeless) saddle through foam inserts. With a treeless saddle, you can omit the recommended pad with inserts and use a regular pad in combination with this half pad with inserts. The half pad is also highly suitable for use under bareback pads when you desire more spine and back muscle protection during regular use.

Instructions for using the half pad under a treeless saddle:
Option 1, best spine freedom:
1. Place the half pad on your horse or pony
2. Place the pad on top
3. Place the saddle on top
4. Ensure everything is straight
5. Pull up the pad and half pad slightly above the withers
6. Girth up

It is not comfortable for your horse if the half pad is too short, as the saddle surface presses on the edges of the half pad. Preferably measure your own saddles and pads to see which size fits best.
Material of the treeless saddle half pad:
Top fabric: Cotton and non-slip Sympanova
Bottom material: Artificial wool black or non-slip Sympanova (extra charge) of your choice

Artificial wool is softer for the horse's back but more prone to sliding. Non-slip material is slightly harder but provides a more stable fit.
Delivery excludes inserts, inserts can be ordered separately.
Selection of inserts:
For optimal pressure distribution, the insert pockets can be filled with various types of inserts. Riding without inserts is not recommended, but you can, of course, use your own inserts. The options all have different prices, see the dropdown menu. Note that these inserts are custom-made and not in stock. This may significantly extend the delivery time of your half pad. Do you want to receive the half pad quickly? Then choose unisize inserts (see related items), which you can cut to size yourself, and your order will be shipped as soon as possible.

How to wash the Grandeur half pad:
The half pad can be washed in the washing machine at 40 degrees Celsius. Preferably use a gentle program such as wool/silk. Before washing, carefully remove the inserts so that the half pad dries faster. The half pad cannot be put in the dryer.
