Why a rope halter?
A rope halter is a halter that is often used in groundwork. For certain exercises, this halter is ideal because you can give better and more subtle cues with it. Rope halters come from the world of Natural Horsemanship and are a lightweight and fine communication tool, both for groundwork and riding.
Using a rope halter
Rope halters are a replacement for the stable halter when working with a horse; however, they are not meant to be worn in the pasture or stable. A rope halter does not break, so never leave your horse or pony unattended with a rope halter.
