This is the Barefoot Happy Valley Fellsattel, also known as the Sheepskin Saddle!

Happy Valley:

The Barefoot Happy Valley is the ultimate Fellsattel: the anatomically shaped base (with VPS) of the Barefoot Arizona for a perfect, flexible fit on the horse, with a wonderfully soft seat that gently envelops the rider thanks to the flexible support blocks.

For riders who like to sit softly and casually but still want a lot of support from their saddle during fast movements of their horse. You sit so soft and firmly enveloped in a cloud that you (almost) can't get out of the saddle.

We have placed a (removable) contoured intermediate layer between the lambskin seat and (movable) stirrup suspension, giving you a narrower seat feel. This means you sit more on an A-shaped seat to relieve the hips.

Girth straps

The girth straps are equipped with a (removable) patch to prevent hair/skin from the horse from getting caught between the girth straps. You can replace these English girth straps with a Western tie strap and off-billet (available separately) if desired.

Sizes:

The Laxy Mountain is available in size 1 and 2. On request, also in size 0, send us an email for the current delivery time.

Pommel (width size):

Comes with a standard size L fork. This can be replaced by a size M, XL or soft fork, which can be ordered separately.

Fenders

The saddle can be ridden with Western fenders, endurance fenders, or stirrup leathers.

Saddle pad

It is recommended to use this saddle with the standard Barefoot pad model Arizona/Atlanta. However, other models are also suitable. The pad must be equipped with inserts for optimal pressure distribution.
