Low in sugars (8.20%) and starch (0.04%), Alfalfa contains a lot of protein for the essential amino acids required for growth and muscle building. Green oats promote metabolism, digestion, and resistance, and contain a lot of minerals. By adding green oats, the correct calcium-phosphorus ratio is created together with alfalfa, as opposed to a product with only alfalfa. Agrobs Alfalfa + has a balanced calcium/phosphorus ratio. Instead of the often-used molasses, linseed oil is added to this alfalfa to reduce dust in the product.
Ideal for:
- Horses that require a high-protein diet such as sport horses, horses that need to develop a lot of muscles, pregnant mares, underweight horses
- Horses with digestive problems
- Horses that are sensitive to starch and sugars
- Horses that eat too quickly, lucerne needs to be chewed longer
- Nervous and restless horses as a replacement for grains
- Supplement for poor quality forage
Recommended feeding instructions:
- instead of roughage: daily 100 to 500 g per 100 kg body weight
- instead of concentrate: 1.2 kg of Luzerne+ replaces 1 kg of grains
- can be pre-moistened/soaked if desired
- to ensure complete vitamin and mineral supplementation, combine with a vitamin and mineral pellet, such as Agrobs Weidemineral Cobs, Seniormineral or Naturmineral.

There is no free shipping for horse feed.
Horse feed is never shipped for free, even when the order is larger than 99,- euro. This is due to the weight, which means that the bales and bags have to be packaged in different packages and most products have to be shipped individually. If you order 10 bales/bags at 15kg each, you can expect them to be delivered in 5 to 10 packages.
Agrobs is a European product.
Agrobs horse feed is produced in Europe, Germany. It does not have to travel around the world to reach our store and therefore has a smaller environmental impact compared to horse feed from other regions. The production meets high European environmental and social standards.
