What is Esparcette:
Esparcette is a highly digestible plant/nutrient for horses. It reduces gas formation in the intestines, thereby decreasing the risk of colic. It supports muscle development as it contains a high amount of proteins and amino acids. It contributes to a healthy intestinal flora and digestive system. It creates an anti-worm environment in the intestines with tannins, reducing the likelihood of worm infestation. Esparcette is an ideal concentrate source for horses that require grain-free nutrition; it is easy to digest and is also well-liked by many picky eaters.
Advantages of Chopped Esparcette:
Made entirely from Esparcette with a small amount of rapeseed oil, ideal for use as concentrate and/or forage. Contains many essential nutrients that ensure optimal energy and muscle development but no unnecessary sugars and starch. Therefore, it is suitable for horses with laminitis/insulin resistance as well as for sport horses.
- Abundant nutrients: contains organically bound calcium, vitamins, beta-carotene, selenium, and other trace elements
- Rich in essential amino acids: lysine, threonine, methionine
- Low in sugars and starch, yet energy-rich due to proteins and essential amino acids
- Contains plenty of fibers that support stomach and intestinal function and have a prebiotic effect. The horse needs to chew the food well, producing a lot of saliva, which neutralizes the pH in the digestive system, preventing colic.
- Rutin to support blood vessel elasticity, antioxidant, reduces blood clotting, inhibits inflammation
- Contains tannins that slightly damage proteins, making them more absorbable. This also affects the proteins of any worms, giving it an anthelmintic effect. It creates an unpleasant living environment for worms.
- It is not a substitute for a deworming treatment but supports in preventing worm infestation.

Chopped Esparcette is less suitable for:
- Horses that chew poorly or have dental problems; they are better off with soaked Esparcette pellets.

- Young growing horses: 0.25 - 2.5 kg per day
- Lactating mares: 0.5 to 2.5 kg per day

- Sport and racehorses: 1 to 3 kg per day
- Recreational horses: 0.15 to 2 kg per day

This is due to the weight, which requires the bales and sacks to be packed into different packages, most of which need to be sent individually.
