Barefoot bareback pad:
Anti-slip suede top for a good secure seat and a Sympanova underside for good grip and ventilation. The pad has various subtle thickening areas to encourage and support the rider's seat. The bareback pad has 3 D-rings at the back, 2 at the front, for example, for attaching light packs or the RoP sheepskin seat.
Bareback pad with V girth system:
The girth straps are attached in a V system for optimal pressure distribution over the horse. There are patches with lambswool attached to them, which are removable!
Bareback pad with anatomical shape:
The bareback pad has an anatomical backline with a recessed withers area for the horse. Due to the anatomical shape, the bareback pad is also suitable for horses with slightly higher/high withers.
No stirrups on a bareback pad:
To prevent point pressure on the spine, stirrups cannot be attached to the Ride-On Pad.
Sheepskin seat for the Barefoot bareback pad:
Available separately, the RoP sheepskin seat from Barefoot for optimal comfort and warmth in the winter. Not suitable for pony size.
Advantages of Barefoot bareback pad:
+ good anatomical fit for many horses and ponies
+ girth pressure distributing V-girth system
+ artificial suede top for good grip
+ stable position due to anti-slip underside
+ girth not included so you can use your favorite girth
+ girth straps reinforced with nylon
+ with handle
Disadvantages of anatomical bareback pad:
- no blocks for the rider for extra support
- some riders may find the patches interfere with leg contact, however, they are easily removable
- the patches are lined with lambskin, a sheep is slaughtered for production, so the product is not sheep-friendly
The bareback pad is ideal for:
- wide C ponies, D and E ponies, and horses
- Horses and ponies with low to medium-high withers
- Riders looking for some grip
- use approximately 2 to 3 times a week
Less suitable for:
- Horses with protruding spine; in this case, use an extra pad or bareback pad inserts
- A, B, and narrow C ponies
- Intensive use without extra padding for back protection
Girth not included:
Delivery of this bareback pad does not include a girth, so you can choose/use a dressage girth according to your preference. The bareback pad is equipped with dressage girth straps.
Material of bareback pad:
Top: artificial suede
Inside: high density foam
Underside: anti-slip Sympanova
Girth straps: nylon
Maintenance of bareback pad:
