Body protectors for extra protection while riding:

A body protector or airbag protects your spine, ribs and the trunk area during a fall from your horse. They are therefore increasingly worn and are mandatory during eventing competitions of the KNHS. Wearing a body protector reduces the risk of serious injuries and thus provides better protection. Therefore it is important that the body protector fits well. You can check this on the basis of the red stripes that are present on most body protectors: these should not be visible when wearing. In addition, the body protector should not be too long.
