This nylon halter is designed as a riding halter. The noseband is "loose" from the chin strap. On both sides of the noseband, there is a round ring that does not fit through the familiar ring in the noseband of the halter. This allows the noseband to be somewhat fixed but can function as a sidepull bitless bridle if you attach reins to these round rings. See images.

This is not a stable halter:

Because this ring protrudes slightly, it is not advisable to leave this halter on in the stable or pasture. However, you can use it to secure your horse during grooming.
