Note: Here you are ordering the base of the saddle with the corresponding seat and fenders. Stirrups, any Velcro pads, and cinch are not included. These can be selected and ordered separately.
Features of the Freeform Western Small Butterfly:
This is the Small Butterfly Western model from Freeform. The skirt of this saddle has a butterfly shape, providing slightly more contact area with the horse compared to the Allround Western. Like the Allround, the Small Butterfly features an adjustable seat length, perfect for fitting the rider, and also convenient for two different riders. It has an interchangeable fork available in 5 different widths, so no flexible aluminum pommel as in many other Freeform models. There is also a choice of 4 different Western cinch systems, making the saddle even more adaptable to various horses. The underside of the saddle is standardly lined with synthetic wool, which is typical for Western saddles. However, you can also choose a non-slip Sympanova underside or Sympanova with Velcro for placing Velcro pads under this saddle for an even more stable fit or more spinal clearance. The saddle comes standard without leather tooling. It is possible to add this for an additional fee.

The base of the Freeform Western is made of thick Italian leather, available in 7 colors. The seat leather is available in soft leather types such as calfskin, suede, and nubuck, practically in all colors of the rainbow. See the colors in the selection menu and pictures. Note that the colors may change annually. During a saddle fitting visit, we bring the available colors in small samples.
