Short description:
A treeless Startrekk © saddle, ideal for classical dressage and leisure riding, that's the Espagniola Deluxe. Because the saddle is available in various chamber widths or with an adjustable chamber width (additional cost +€129,-), it can be well adapted to different horses. Since there are no hard parts in the saddle outside the pommel, the saddle can adjust well to the shape and movement of the horse and rider. They are flexible but also stable enough to distribute the rider's weight evenly over the back. This is achieved by means of a very thin plastic plate. Additionally, the pads on the underside are removable and can be replaced with different types to optimize the saddle's position. The V-girth system ensures stable positioning, even for small and short horses. Optionally available with Velcro knee blocks, this costs €69,-.

Widths:
The Startrekk Espagniola Deluxe saddle is available in 5 widths:
- Pommel K1, comparable to width 6 on the Sprenger Wither Gauge
- Pommel K2, comparable to width 5 on the Sprenger Wither Gauge
- Pommel K3, comparable to width 4 on the Sprenger Wither Gauge
- Pommel K4, comparable to width 3 on the Sprenger Wither Gauge
- Pommel K5, comparable to width 2 on the Sprenger Wither Gauge
However, you can also choose an adjustable pommel, the Delfin. This pommel can be adjusted in all 5 different sizes with a supplied Allen key. Ideal if you're not sure which size is best for your horse yet, or if a horse is still growing or developing muscles. The surcharge for an adjustable pommel is €129,-.
It is possible that if you order a saddle in width K2, you can later order a wider or narrower pommel and install it yourself in your saddle. However, this is not as easy to adjust as the adjustable Delfin pommel. A single pommel costs €128,-. These individual pommels are slightly more Spanish in finish than the Delfin pommel, matching the Espagniola Deluxe saddle. A separate Delfin pommel (to be installed later) costs €198,-.

Leather types and colors:
The Startrekk Espagniola Deluxe saddle is made with two types of leather, a base leather type and nubuck or nappa leather for the seat. There are various colors to choose from. Please note that the color images below may differ from reality due to screen quality, and since leather is a natural product, each piece of leather may vary slightly.

Nappa leather is soft and has a light texture on the surface.
Seat leather Nubuck:
Nubuck is a type of suede leather that has a slightly brushed surface. This gives the rider a little more grip.
Hardware color:
You can choose between silver-colored or brass-colored hardware on the saddle, buckles, and rings, etc.
Pads:
As described above, detachable pads are included at the bottom of the Startrekk Espagniola Deluxe. These pads are available in various materials, and separate sets can be ordered later (individually they cost €148,-). Upon special request, a pad can also be produced with, for example, thinner padding at the front and thicker padding at the back. However, it must be specified exactly how the pad should be filled.

Knee blocks:
The saddle can be supplied with or without Velcro knee blocks, for attachment under the sweat flap. This gives the rider more support. With knee blocks, it costs €69,- extra.
Usage advice:
During use, we recommend using a pad with inserts for optimal pressure distribution and spine freedom. For example, a Grandeur pad, which is specially made to measure for your Startrekk. In the insert compartments, you can choose the type of inserts yourself and, if necessary, choose a slightly thicker insert locally.
Maintenance:
Startrekk recommends storing the saddle in a dark, dry, and cool place on a saddle stand. Dirt and sweat should be removed regularly with a damp cloth or saddle soap. To maintain the quality of the leather, it is advisable to oil the saddle 1 to 2 times a year (clean before applying oil). Do not use too much leather oil. In between, the saddle can also be occasionally treated with leather grease; again, use very little grease. This is to maintain the stability of the leather. Note for nubuck leather: Nubuck leather cannot be maintained with leather oil and grease. Only use saddle soap and possibly a waterproofing spray to keep the nubuck leather water-resistant. Note for light leather: Light-colored leather will darken with oil. Therefore, use only grease. Always test a product on an inconspicuous area before using it on the entire saddle.
Warranty:
With proper use, good maintenance, and correct storage of the saddle, the saddle has a 2-year warranty. However, this is only valid upon presentation of the original invoice and warranty card. There is no warranty for leather irregularities, as leather is a natural product. For example, a small scar from the animal may become visible. Furthermore, there is no warranty for wear-sensitive parts such as the girth straps, girth, stirrup leathers, and hardware.

Delivery:
Please note that the saddle is delivered without the accessories required for use. However, standard Velcro pads are included for the underside.
Delivery time:
A Startrekk saddle is specially made to your preferences (color and leatherwork) in South America. Therefore, the saddles have a delivery time of approximately 10-12 weeks.
